This brief self-learning course aims to refresh basic concepts on error analysis, statistics, regressions and some numerical operations learnt during the undergraduate course. This course is designed with a strong applied emphasis, to help Master students during everyday lab work, data analysis, as well as when preparing results for publication.

苏州大学外籍教授Ruben Mercadé-Prieto，江苏特聘肖杰教授。

二、授课对象

一年级硕士生和博士生，有一定英语基础和化工专业基础的同学。

三、授课内容

This course will use three kind of general software, useful to any student:

•    A spreadsheet software; we will use the omnipresent Excel from Microsoft Office.

•    A statistical software; we will use R with Deducer as a graphical user interface (GUI).

•    A numerical computational software; we will use Scilab, a free clone of Matlab.

时间：周一和周三下午2:00-5:00，6月10号开始

地点：911号楼1楼计算机教室
